HISTORY OF THE CHURCH

The pursuit of this vision started in Lanham, Maryland, USA - the Head-Quarter Base. The mandate is to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all nations with much emphasis on His unconditional love and grace.We have been pursuing this vision with much evidence of God's goodness in the life of people. 

In May, 2018, we extended this mission to Africa in obedience to the great commission of our Lord Jesus - the mandate to teach all nations in Matthew 28:19. We faithfully visited Nigeria where we now have facilities for discipleship. Our site is located at The Vessel of Grace Evangelical Church International, Kayode Omosebi Street, College Road Iju, Akure North LGA, Ondo State, Nigeria. We have two ministers who have been well trained and licensed, running the affairs of the branch. Members are increasing daily. We have an auditorium that accommodate over 150 members (which is at the verge of extension) and a vicarage for the ministers. 

Our mission is to preach the truth of the Gospel of Christ to all nations and to raise godly people walking in love, faith, and holiness to the Glory of God. We are dedicated to winning souls who are sound in faith to the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ and making a positive change in our community. 

By God's grace, thousands of lives have been transformed through our daily devotionals, Whatsapp Bible Study Group and Christian meetings by the right teaching of God's Word. Healing has taken place; the truth has set many people free from the yoke and burdens of religion; and many life transforming testimonies - All to the Glory of God. 

Our Beliefs: 

• It is not possible to write in this few sentences all we believe. However, the following are our core beliefs: 
• The Bible is inspired and empowered by God, infallible, and authoritative. 
• One eternal God who exists as three separate persons - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 
• Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who became flesh, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and demonstrated the authority and power of God in works and speech, took upon Himself the sin of the whole world, died on the cross of Calvary, rose from the dead on the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of God having accomplished all that is necessary for man’s salvation. 
• It is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by believing in His heart for righteousness and confessing with His mouth to salvation. 
• The imminent return of Jesus and that those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment. 
• The true Church is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation. 
• All born-again believers have been commissioned to share the complete Gospel to the entire world.
